Robyn Ahern

Robyn Ahern is a writer based in London. She has previously written for theatre and is currently working on projects for film and television. Her writing is deeply character-driven and often constructs a sense of unease, experimenting with genre to explore broader themes such as power and alienation. She is currently one of the six fellows on Bisha K Ali’s inaugural Netflix/Sky Screenwriting Fellowship 2021/22. Prior to this, she was shortlisted for the Neale Street Productions’ inaugural bursary screenwriting scheme 2020/21. Robyn has a PhD in Sociology. Her research concerned questions of race, culture and visual technology.
