Rose Heiney is a screenwriter and novelist who won a 4Talent Award for Best New Comedy Writer and was a Broadcast Hotshot in 2009. Her first novel, The Days of Judy B was nominated for The Times/South Bank Show Breakthrough Award.

Subsequently, Rose has written extensively for TV, including Miranda, Fresh Meat, Breeders for Sky and Letter for the King for Netflix. Rose has also written regularly for radio; her first radio play Home Alone transmitted in spring 2013 starring Daisy Haggard. Her play Original Death Rabbit was broadcast in 2016 starring Jessie Cave, and ran at the Jermyn Street Theatre starring Kimberley Nixon.

Rose is currently writing an original comedy feature for Working Title, and has projects in development for film and TV. She is a writer and Supervising Producer on both series of Armando Iannucci‘s show Avenue 5 for HBO.
