As a comedy writer, Rufus has written for a bunch of comedians over the years, including Mitchell & Webb, Angelos Epithemiou and Jon Culshaw.
He was script consultant and writer on two series of the BAFTA nominated Cardinal Burns (CH4).
With his own sketch group Dutch Elm Conservatoire, he wrote a R4 and ITV pilot and developed his own script No Son Of Mine for Left Bank and ITV.
He wrote and starred in MovieMash for Channel 4 with Dan Skinner, as well as William & Sinclair for Sky Atlantic, as part of their Common Ground series and he developed his first original comedy Splitsville, with Hat Trick.
He has created, written and starred two series of 6x 30min comedy drama HOME for Channel 4 produced by Adam Tandy and Channel X which also starred Rebekah Staton and Youssef Kerrkour.
He is currently developing a drama for BBC.
