Sam’s play Boys on the Verge of Tears is the winner of the Verity Bargate Award and was produced at Soho Theatre in 2024.
He is the 2024-25 Writer-in-Residence at The National Theatre Studio and is under commission at Manhattan Theatre Club. He is a MacDowell Fellow, and a graduate of the Royal Court Young Writers Programme.
His plays are published by Faber & Faber.
Alongside his theatre work, he is developing his debut feature with 2AM/BBC Films.
