Susannah grew up in rural Co. Tyrone and now lives in Belfast. She currently has three comedy pilots in development with Kudos Film & TV, Birdie Pictures and Merman. She has just recently been part of a writer’s room for a Sony funded original comedy idea with writer James Wood. She has also just been selected as a writer on the BBC Studios: The Writer Spotlight 2024 programme which includes a script commission.
Since graduating from Queen’s University Belfast with an MA in Creative Writing in 2013, she has written for theatre and TV. Credits include: Writer/Performer as part of Sparks for Channel 4 with Merman, Writer for BBC Soft Border Patrol Series 1 – 3, Writer of the play Alice Milligan – A Girl of Genius which opened in New York at the 2016 Cuala Festival.
