Tom Clapham

Tom is a British-Australian writer living in London with a background in production and development. After graduating from the Australian National University with Honours in Law and a Bachelor of Arts, Tom worked on George Miller’s Oscar Winning MAD MAX: FURY ROAD before relocating to the UK where he did a brief stint in VFX assisting Tim Webber (PADDINGTON, GRAVITY).

On the TV side, Tom has helped develop series for Universal International Studios including Dolly Alderton’s EVERYTHING I KNOW ABOUT LOVE (BBC) and Peter Kosminsky’s THE UNDECLARED WAR (C4 & Peacock).

As a writer, Tom straddles drama and comedy with a love for heightened concepts grounded and led by characters with rich interior lives. Never strict to genre, his writing aims to surprise, challenge and entertain in unexpected ways.
